Some newer vehicles have protected engine computers that require unlocking before software work can be completed. Our team can check your vehicle's ECU compatibility and advise whether unlocking is required. ECU unlocking is charged separately, and any additional cost will be confirmed before work begins.

01Understanding the service
It is most relevant to various vehicles built from around 2020 onwards, but it depends on the ECU type, hardware and software version, not just the registration year. Many newer vehicles don't need one at all.
Some ECUs can be handled through supported methods. Others need specialist processing, and some can't currently be supported. We tell you which applies to your vehicle before anything is booked.
If your ECU is protected, the AdBlue Delete and Removal software work can't be carried out until it's unlocked. Send your registration and we'll check before quoting.
From booking to completion, our experienced mobile technicians make the process straightforward.
We confirm your vehicle, location, service and appointment.
On the day, your technician calls with an estimated arrival time.
We connect diagnostic equipment, check the vehicle and identify relevant faults.
We read the original ECU software, prepare the AdBlue modification and apply it.
Final diagnostics, applicable fault-code resets and checks to confirm the agreed work is complete.
We take payment, provide a receipt and explain the applicable software warranty.
