What it means
AdBlue Delete & Removal
Our process starts with a full diagnostic scan to confirm the source of the AdBlue fault. We then perform a software only AdBlue Delete by reprogramming the engine control unit (ECU), which deactivates the entire system. Please note, some newer Transporter models have protected ECUs that may require unlocking at an additional cost, which we confirm before starting any work. This is a mobile service performed at your location, whether at home, your business, or on site. We can also quote for optional extras like performance remaps or DPF software solutions, subject to vehicle suitability.
Vehicle suitability
Does my VW Transporter T6 have AdBlue? Not every diesel version of the T6 is fitted with an AdBlue system, as it depends on the specific engine, year and original emissions standard. For your Volkswagen Transporter T6, we check the registration, engine, build specification and ECU details rather than assuming fitment or service support from its age or badge. Because of the variations, it is essential that we check the vehicle's details. The only certain way to confirm compatibility is for us to check your registration. This page concerns the Transporter T6, not the T6.1, for which we do not currently offer this service.
Seeing an AdBlue warning, engine management light or unfamiliar fault code? These warnings can point to problems with your vehicle's AdBlue, SCR, UREA or NOx system. Browse common fault codes below, or contact our specialists for advice on the next step.
These are shared diagnostic codes, not confirmed faults for every Volkswagen Transporter T6. Applicability depends on your vehicle and scan results.
Send us your registration, postcode and diagnostic fault code. We'll check the details and explain the available mobile service options.
We cover much of Southern England and other supported areas across England. Enter your postcode, or browse our areas.
Tell us the registration, your postcode and what the dashboard shows.
We confirm suitability for your model and agree a quotation before any work.

The agreed software work is carried out at your location and checked before we leave.
This is a classic sign that the issue is not with the fluid level but with a faulty component, such as a sensor, pump, or module. Our diagnostic check will identify the underlying fault before we propose a software solution.
Our AdBlue delete software reconfigures the engine management system to ignore messages from the AdBlue module. This prevents the countdown from appearing and controlling the vehicle's ability to start.
Some protected ECUs require specialist unlocking, but this depends on your Volkswagen Transporter T6's ECU hardware and software, not a blanket model-year rule. We check whether it is supported and confirm any extra unlocking cost before booking.
Not necessarily. Fitment varies significantly across the T6 range depending on the power output and year of manufacture. The only way to be certain is to provide us with your vehicle registration so we can check our systems.
SCR stands for Selective Catalytic Reduction, which is the technical name for the AdBlue system. NOx sensors are a key part of it. A fault with either will trigger a dashboard warning, which our software solution is designed to address.
