Restart Countdown
- This is the most critical warning, giving you a limited distance before the engine is immobilised. It's triggered by a wide range of SCR system faults, not just an empty AdBlue tank.
Exhaust Fluid Quality Warning
- This warning can appear even if you have used the correct fluid, often pointing to a failed NOx sensor or a contaminated batch. The system believes the AdBlue is ineffective and enters a fault mode.
AdBlue System Malfunction
- A generic but serious message indicating a problem within the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. This could be caused by a faulty pump, injector, sensor, or control module.
Low AdBlue Warning Stays On After Refill
- You have refilled the AdBlue tank correctly, but the light and countdown message refuse to clear. This often indicates a failed level sensor or a communication error within the system.

I've refilled the AdBlue but the warning is still on my Tourneo Connect. Why?
This is a classic sign of a system fault. The level sensor may have failed, or another component like the pump or injector is preventing the system from resetting after the refill.
Will your AdBlue delete stop the Engine will not restart countdown?
Yes, our AdBlue delete software is designed to resolve issues stemming from AdBlue system faults, including immobilisation countdown timers. It electronically disables the system that is triggering these warnings.
What is ECU unlocking and does my Tourneo Connect need it?
Some newer Tourneo Connect models have factory-protected Engine Control Units (ECUs). Unlocking is a specialist process required to allow software changes. We check your vehicle's registration and ECU hardware to confirm if this is necessary.
Is my 1.5 or 2.0 EcoBlue diesel compatible with an AdBlue delete?
