01Understanding the service
An SCR warning can have several causes, and changing software is not the same as repairing the underlying hardware. Before recommending work, the vehicle's specification, fault codes and warning status need checking. Mobile attendance depends on coverage, equipment requirements and safe access to the vehicle.
The Daily's 2.3-litre diesel belongs to the F1A family; the 3.0-litre belongs to F1C. SCR fitment varies by production date and emissions specification, and some earlier Euro 6 2.3-litre Daily versions used EGR without SCR. Eurocargo uses Tector engines, while diesel Stralis, S-Way and Trakker applications include Cursor engines. Older vehicles and alternative-fuel versions should not be assumed to have the same equipment. Send your registration for a vehicle-specific check.
Low-fluid warnings, SCR malfunction messages and reduced power require different checks. A low-level warning after filling could involve level sensing or another system fault; it is not enough to diagnose a failed component. Warning wording and restriction strategies vary between vans and lorries. DPF faults are distinct from SCR faults, although both systems can influence exhaust operation and engine performance.
The following are generic diagnostic definitions, not proof that a particular part needs replacing. Iveco-specific descriptions, subcodes and live data should be checked; heavy-lorry diagnostic tools may also report SPN/FMI information. Send the complete scan report rather than only a shortened code.
Provide your registration, postcode, current warning messages and any previous diagnostic or repair reports. Tell us whether the engine starts and whether power is restricted. These details help establish the next checks and whether a mobile visit is suitable; ECU identification or further testing may be required before the scope of work can be confirmed.
From booking to completion, our experienced mobile technicians make the process straightforward.
We confirm your vehicle, location, service and appointment.
On the day, your technician calls with an estimated arrival time.
We connect diagnostic equipment, check the vehicle and identify relevant faults.
We read the original ECU software, prepare the AdBlue modification and apply it.
Final diagnostics, applicable fault-code resets and checks to confirm the agreed work is complete.
We take payment, provide a receipt and explain the applicable software warranty.

Customer questions
Still unsure? Send us your registration and a photo of the warning on WhatsApp.
Ask on WhatsAppSCR-equipped diesel versions of the Daily, Eurocargo, Stralis, S-Way and Trakker use AdBlue, but fitment depends on the year, engine and specification. Do not assume every Euro 6 Daily has SCR: some earlier 2.3-litre versions used EGR without AdBlue. Send your registration so we can check your vehicle's likely fitment.
Possible causes include low or unsuitable fluid, dosing-pressure faults, injector deposits, heater faults, NOx sensor faults and damaged wiring. A NOx sensor measures nitrogen oxides in the exhaust, not AdBlue quality directly. Dashboard warnings alone do not identify the failed component; send the exact message and diagnostic codes.
Send your registration, postcode, dashboard message and any diagnostic report to request a quote. The work and equipment needed vary between Daily vans and heavier lorries, so vehicle details and service availability need checking first.
Software-based removal changes how the vehicle's control system operates or monitors SCR functions. The method depends on the ECU and vehicle specification, and it does not physically repair a faulty pump, injector, sensor or wiring. Compatibility and the cause of any reduced-power condition need assessing before work is proposed.
On SCR-equipped vehicles, checks may cover the tank heater, pump pressure, dosing injector, NOx sensors, wiring and catalyst performance. The relevant components differ between Daily F1A/F1C, Eurocargo Tector and heavier Cursor applications. Some faults can trigger torque or speed restrictions, or restart restrictions on applicable versions; the response depends on the vehicle and fault.
Send your registration, model, year, engine size and fuel type, together with any fault codes. A VIN, ECU identification scan or clear ECU label photograph may also be needed to confirm the installed hardware and software.
Send your postcode and explain where the vehicle is parked so we can check mobile coverage, access and appointment availability. If it is stranded, tell us whether it is in a safe working location; roadside work may not be suitable.
Send a photograph or copy of the diagnostic report through the available website contact options, together with your registration. Include full codes, any suffixes and the scanner descriptions. Codes such as P20EE or U029E guide testing but do not, on their own, establish the cause or the appropriate service.
